Catholic Life
At St Mary’s Primary School, our Catholic Life shines brightly as we weave the values of compassion, community, and stewardship into every aspect of our daily routines. Guided by the principles of Catholic Social Teaching, we nurture not only our minds but also our hearts, fostering a spirit of love and respect for all. βοΈβ€οΈ
Each week, our students engage in meaningful activities that embody the teachings of Christ. Whether it’s our enriching Prayer and Liturgy sessions, community outreach projects, or simply lending a helping hand to a fellow classmate, we strive to live out the message of love and service. π€
Let’s celebrate the incredible ways our school community upholds these values and supports one another. Together, we are building a brighter, kinder world for everyone! πβ¨
Harvest Celebrations
ππΎ Our Wonderful Harvest Festival Performance! πΎπ
What a fantastic day at our school! Our incredible KS1 and KS2 pupils put on a spectacular Harvest Festival performance that left us all in awe! π€β¨
The children showcased their singing talents while embracing the true meaning of harvest. It was heart-warming to see them come together, celebrating gratitude and learning about the importance of this season.π
This was an opportunity to support local charities. We collected food donations for those less fortunate, and all proceeds from our bake sale went directly to helping families in our community.
The true spirit of compassion and community that lies at the heart of our school.
Food Bank
Well done to the wonderful community at St Mary's School for coming together in an incredible effort to support those in need. π Over the past few weeks, students, parents, and teachers have generously donated an impressive amount of food to our local food bank, run by the amazing charity, The Upper Rooms. π₯«π
